Capability

Fractional CTO support for growing companies

I work directly with founders, directors and teams that need experienced technology leadership, but not necessarily a full-time CTO. The scope and cadence follow the company, the team and the decisions in front of us.

01

When it is useful

A fractional CTO engagement can help when technology decisions are becoming more consequential, a team or supplier needs clearer leadership, delivery needs attention, or a founder or business leader needs an experienced technical counterpart.

  • Product and technology strategy.
  • Architecture, security and technical risk.
  • Team structure, hiring and supplier decisions.
  • Delivery priorities and operating rhythm.
  • AI adoption and practical governance.
  • Investor, board and customer technology conversations.

02

What direct involvement means

You hire me directly and retain access to me throughout the work. I lead the important technology conversations, work with the people doing the delivery and become hands-on where that is the most useful contribution. Trusted specialists can support a defined need, but I remain accountable for my part of the engagement.

03

A flexible working rhythm

There is no standard number of days per month. A company shaping its first product needs a different rhythm from a scale-up improving delivery. We agree responsibilities, access, working cadence and review points before the engagement begins, then adapt them as the situation changes.

Engagement models

Each model serves a different need. Scope, cadence and commercial terms are agreed after the initial enquiry.
