I set up Software Heads to give founders direct access to experienced technology leadership, practical advice and hands-on delivery support.

My background

I have spent more than 25 years building software and technology businesses.

My work has covered product strategy, software delivery, engineering leadership, enterprise SaaS, mobile applications and the practical adoption of generative AI.

I am co-founder and CTO of Notify Technology. That continuing operating role matters to my consultancy work because the advice stays connected to real product, team, security and delivery decisions.

Software Heads provides the consultancy structure around that experience. Clients hire me directly and retain access to me throughout the engagement.

I explain the trade-offs, including uncertainty and the limits of available evidence.
I can bring in trusted specialists for a defined need while remaining accountable for my contribution.
I normally work remotely, with in-person workshops or important sessions by agreement where they are useful.
